According to AP it produced 7219 perpetual calendars over a 15-year period including Royal Oak QPs. link Only 79 of these were the platinum ref. 25668 making this one of the rarer of the more than link 70 references and 200 QP variations AP produced from 1978 through the 1990s.Putting it on though I didn’t care as much about link the history or rarity I just loved the way it draped across my wrist.

Overall these watches were everything I expected them to be Non-working props with imperfections that a real watch would hopefully never have but which endear them more to their intended use. I do plan on link eventually seeing this film and will keep my eyes glued to the screen to spot link these watches now that I have seen them up close. I find the whole behind-the-scenes world of film fascinating. To that link end these watches and the stories behind them did not disappoint.
